Here’s an overview of the data types that Pro Backup can restore for Jira.

Issues
When you restore an issue, a new issue will be added to the project. The following data will be restored: Description, attachments, comments, labels and most custom fields values.
There a few known issues when restoring an issue:
- Not all custom field values will be restored
- Components will not be restored
- Child issues will not be restored when restoring a parent issue
Comments
When you restore a comment, a duplicate of the comment will be created in the related issue.
Important
Restored comments will not have their original timestamp
Files
When you restore a file, the file will be added to the related issue.
