Inviting team members

This article explains how to invite team members to your ProBackup account so they can view, export, or restore backed-up data.

Prerequisites

  • A ProBackup account with admin access

How to invite a team member

  1. Go to Settings > Users.

  2. Click "Add User".

  3. Enter the user's name and email address.

  4. Select which app backups the user should have access to.

  5. Choose an access level:

    • Can View – view backed-up data only

    • Can Export – view and export backed-up data

    • Can Restore – view, export, and restore backed-up data

  6. Set the visibility scope:

    • Full access – the user can access all backed-up data across all workspaces and projects

    • Restricted – the user can only access data they have access to within the connected app

  7. Click "Save" to send the invitation.

Notes

  • Each invited user must create their own ProBackup account and authorise the app before they can access any data.

  • The admin always has full access to all backed-up data, regardless of scope settings.

  • You do not need a separate licence for each team member. A single licence covers your entire team.
