You can connect your ProBackup account with Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO) to make logging in easier and more secure.
Note: Microsoft SSO is only available for customers with a Premium license.
Personal Microsoft accounts
For individual Microsoft accounts, SSO works out of the box. Simply select “Sign in with Microsoft” on the ProBackup sign in page and follow the steps.
Organizational Microsoft accounts
For company or school accounts, your Microsoft 365 administrator may need to grant access before employees can sign in with Microsoft SSO.
Step 1. Admin grants organization-wide access
Ask your Microsoft 365 admin to open this link:
https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/oauth2/authorize?response_type=code&client_id=351eb882-32df-4927-896d-9f2e1ab93ab8&redirect_uri=https://support.probackup.io/en/articles/12034056-how-to-set-up-microsoft-sso
In the Microsoft consent screen, the admin must check:
✅ “Consent on behalf of your organization”Click Accept.
Step 2. Manage access in Microsoft Portal
Once access is granted, the ProBackup application will appear under your organization’s Enterprise Applications in the Microsoft Azure portal.
From there, the admin can assign access to specific users or groups.
