This guide explains how to apply a ProBackup promotion code for Jira or Confluence. Applying a code keeps your current rate in place and does not interrupt your backups.
Prerequisites
Billing admin access to your Atlassian billing account.
Note: You may receive more than one code: one per app (Jira and Confluence) and one per billing cycle (monthly and yearly). Apply the Jira code to the Jira app and the Confluence code to the Confluence app, and use the code that matches how you pay for the app (monthly or yearly).
Steps
Go to admin.atlassian.com/billing and sign in with your Atlassian account. If you have more than one billing account, select the right one.
Select Subscriptions in the side navigation.
Find ProBackup for Jira or ProBackup for Confluence in the list and click Manage.
Click More actions, then Enter promo code.
Enter the promo code and click Validate.
Click Apply discount.
The subscription page then shows that the discount is scheduled to begin at the start of your next billing cycle.
Notes
Your price does not change. The code keeps your current rate in place. It is not a new charge.
Backups keep running throughout. There is no interruption.
Codes are single-use and specific to one app and billing cycle. A Jira code only works on the Jira app, a Confluence code only on the Confluence app, and a yearly code only on a yearly subscription.
If a code appears expired or invalid, check that you are applying it to the matching app and that it matches your billing cycle (monthly or yearly). If it still fails, contact us via the chat.
