You have several options for downloading your backup data. You can export individual data tables directly from the app, request full exports for large datasets, or if your plan allows, access your files via Google Drive syncing.
Downloading individual data tables
You can export the data from any specific table as an Excel-compatible file.
From the Home page, click "Go to..." to access your backup history.
Select the data type you wish to view (e.g., Records, Items, Comments, Files) using the tabs.
Use the sidebar to navigate to the correct project, board, or list.
Click the Download icon in the top right corner of the table to export the current view.
Note: Data tables must be exported individually. It is not possible to download all data tables across your account in a single step.
Requesting a full export for large tables
If a table contains too many records to load directly in the browser, a "Request Full Export" button will appear at the top of the table.
Clicking this will process the export in the background. Once the file is ready, you will receive an email containing a download link for the complete table.
Downloading single attachments
You can locate and download specific files attached to a project, board, or list.
From the Home page, click "Go to..." to access your backups.
Select the Attachments tab.
Use the sidebar to navigate to the correct project, board, or list.
Locate the file in the list and click the download button next to it.
Bulk download attachments
Premium users have the option to download all attachments from a specific project, board, or list as a single ZIP file.
From the Home page, click "Go to..." to access your backups.
Select the Attachments tab.
Use the sidebar to navigate to the specific project, board, or list you wish to export.
Click the Download all icon in the top right corner of the table.
Using Google Drive Sync
Pro and Premium users can enable an optional sync to replicate their data backups directly to Google Drive. This allows you to access your data in a familiar format outside of the Pro Backup dashboard.
Once synced, you can:
Download specific folders, sheets, and attachments directly from your Google Drive.
Install Google Drive for Desktop to automate downloads from the cloud to your local device.
