How to restore Smartsheet data

This article explains which data types ProBackup can restore for Smartsheet and any known limitations.

Rows

When you restore a row, a duplicate is created in the existing sheet. The following data is included: field values, attachments, and conversations.

Sheets

When you restore a sheet, a duplicate is created in the workspace. The following data is included: rows, field values, attachments, and conversations.

Known limitations when restoring a sheet:

  • Files are not restored.

  • Column order may not match the original.

  • Locked rows and columns are not restored.

  • Row formatting is not restored.

  • Cell formulas are not restored.

Comments

When you restore a comment, a duplicate is created in the related row or sheet.
