What data can be restored for ClickUp?

Here’s an overview of the data types that Pro Backup can restore for ClickUp.

  • Lists - When you restore a list, a new list will be added to the original folder or space. All tasks, comments, files and custom fields will be restored as well.

  • Tasks - When you restore a task, a duplicate of the task will be created in the related list. All comments, files and custom fields will be restored as well.

Note: Text formatting in the description and recurring dates will not be restored. Watchers are not backed up so cannot be restored either.

  • Docs - The name of restored Docs will be appended with the version date.

  • Comments - When you restore a comment, a duplicate of the comment will be created in the related task.

  • Files - When you restore a file, the file will be added to the related task.

  • Custom fields - When you restore a field, a duplicate of the field will be added to the related project. All field values of the existing tasks will be restored as well.

Note: When restoring a custom field or list, the custom fields will need to be added to the view manually
