This article explains how restoring Miro boards works in ProBackup.

A Miro restore never overwrites your existing board. ProBackup creates a new board in your Miro account, named after the original with a timestamp, for example "Marketing plan (restored 2026-09-15 13:44:19)". The board is created in the team the original board belongs to, so look for it there.

Open your Miro backup in ProBackup and go to Boards.

Select the board and the snapshot date you want to go back to.

Click Restore. The restore report shows done when the new board is ready.

Open Miro: the restored board appears next to the original. Rename it if you want to keep the original name.

Shapes, texts, sticky notes, items and their connectors are restored. Restoring the same snapshot twice creates a second copy, so check the first restored board before retrying.

If you only need the data outside Miro, open the board in ProBackup and use the Download icon to export it.
