ProBackup

This article explains how to find your GitHub installation ID if you are having trouble connecting GitHub to ProBackup.

If you have not already done so, install ProBackup from the GitHub App Marketplace:

Go to your installed GitHub apps at <a href="https://github.com/settings/installations" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://github.com/settings/installations</a>.

Click "Configure" next to ProBackup.

Copy the number at the end of the URL in your browser. For example: <code><a href="https://github.com/settings/installations/12345678" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://github.com/settings/installations/12345678</a></code> - in this case, the installation ID is 12345678.

- Go to your installed GitHub apps at <a href="https://github.com/settings/installations" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://github.com/settings/installations</a>.
- Click "Configure" next to ProBackup. 
- Copy the number at the end of the URL in your browser. For example: <code><a href="https://github.com/settings/installations/12345678" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://github.com/settings/installations/12345678</a></code> - in this case, the installation ID is 12345678.

Step 3: Enter the installation ID in ProBackup

Return to the ProBackup onboarding wizard.

Paste the installation ID into the Installation ID field.

1. Return to the ProBackup onboarding wizard.
2. Paste the installation ID into the Installation ID field.
3. Continue with the setup.
