How to restore Teamwork.com data

Written by ProBackup

This article explains which data types ProBackup can restore for Teamwork.com and any known limitations.

ProBackup never overwrites or changes existing data in Teamwork.com. Every restore adds a new copy from your backup.

Tasks

When you restore a task, a copy is created in the original task list. The restored task's name ends with "(restored" and the date and time of the restore.

The following data is included: description, status, priority, privacy, custom field values, attachments and comments.

Known limitations:

  • Assignees, start and due dates, and tags are not restored.

  • A subtask is restored as a subtask of its original parent task. Restoring a parent task does not restore its subtasks; select them as well.

Other data types

Projects, task lists, users and clients cannot be restored. Comments and attachments cannot be restored on their own; they are restored together with their task.
